2004 Toyota 4Runner
Spring 2004 our Audi was "starting" to act up. We had sold our Van and didn't have anything to tow our trailer with. Over a several month period we drove every mid-sized SUV on the market (Couldn't talk my wife into another van). When I finished college I bought my first "new" car. It was a base model, 4cyl, std cab, short box Toyota 4X4. That truck was the toughest, most reliable vehicle I've ever had. In fact its the only vehicle I have any regrets that I ever sold. Wish I still had it today.
That experience finalized the decision and in June put us behind the wheel of another Toyota. Its pretty decked out. Its best feature, A V8. Its my wife's work commuter, kid hauler, grocery getter and the family weekend warrior.
We love this car!
