Jayco Jay King 6

1994 Pop-Up Trailer

Sold March 2005

In early 2002 we traded in our tent for a pop-up trailer.  We found a real clean used 1994 Jayco.  The inside shows almost no signs of use;  most importantly the inside smells new. Its great for our family of four. Char and I get the big bed in the back. Its bigger than than a double, but smaller than a queen.  The girls sleep in the front double bed.  The dinette converts into a small bed where our dog Burton sleeps.  It has a good sized three way fridge, sink with hot and cold water, 35 gallon holding tank, shower, cassette toilet, furnace, and lots of inside and outside storage.

Its easy to tow because you can see over the top of it and the surge brakes keep things under control when green lights turn yellow. Char and the girls have no problem setting it up, so they can take off and get good spots on Thursday nights and I can join them Friday after work.  When not in use, it fits nicely in the garage and makes for a pretty cool hangout.

In spring of 2005 we traded our soft sided trailer for something a little more substantial. A Prolwer 18T6.

Camp Larkin

When not in use, the trailer is a great fort in the garage.
